Our School's Governing Body

The Governors who meet, at least once a term, have a range of responsibilities for the school including:

  • Appointing staff and determining pupil admissions.
  • The curriculum, school policies, school hours, and holidays.
  • The financial management of the school.
  • The school building and grounds.

The Catholic Diocese of Lancaster appoints foundation governors.

There is one parent representative on the Governing Body elected by the parents every four years. There is also a staff representative.

Governors can be contacted through the Clerk to the Governors, who can be contacted through the school.
